What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is an ancient technique of quieting the mind and cultivating acceptance and appreciation of oneself and others. It is a way of being in the world, whereas one practices living mindfully in the present moment, and practices acceptance of oneself and others.
Mindfulness is a way to tame the inner critic, it is a way to open up love for oneself and others. To live mindfully is to have one’s attention to lived experience be in the moment.
